The board of directors is responsible for the affairs of the NHSGCA.

The members are:

Rich Hunter, President. Mr. Hunter is President/CEO of Sports Management Associates, L.C. (SMA), and has 28 years of sports-related management experience, including nearly 12 years with the NCAA in several executive-level positions.

Brad Rumble, Vice President. Mr. Rumble has 27 years of executive sports administration experience, 22 of which were with the National Federation of State High School Associations.

Tom Busch, Secretary. Mr. Busch is a Kansas City attorney who specializes in sports law and also serves as legal counsel to the Association.

Jerry Keeny, Treasurer.  Mr. Keeny is an insurance and financial consultant in the Kansas City area.

Angelyn Papangellin is head golf coach at Presentation High School, San Jose, California.

Dick Scaife is the boys golf coach at Vermilion High School and president of the Ohio High School Golf Coaches Association.

David Small is the golf coach at North Myrtle Beach Highschool in Myrtle Beach, SC

Executive Director  Michelle Pond, Director of SMA client services.

The day-to-day management of the Association is handled through the NHSGCA office, which is professionally operated by SMA Management Group, L.C.
